Miaja Art Collections, Singapore
My recent appointment as Global Ambassador for the Swiss bank, UBS, offers opportunities for our brand in the Far East, where UBS has long had a material presence. This year we have appointed gallery representatives in Singapore - Miaja Art Collections - and we will base our initial efforts from this historic and celebrated trading post.
We have many friends in the city and made some new ones with a series of events organised by Miaja Art Collections and UBS this March. I thank all concerned, including the 1880 Club and the SO Sofitel, for their cooperation during a very busy week. I took the 15 hour journey to LA at the end of the week and slept almost the entire flight – a testament to Singaporean hospitality.
