Inuit Family

Nunavut, Canada - 2013
Nunavut, Canada

In my travels I have detected that the more extreme locations tend to foster a greater sense of family. Intuitively this is understandable – life is hard and this encourages a spirit of togetherness. This Inuit family in the far north of Baffin Island is a unit and they behave as one. It is a simple photograph but it has the capacity to stir strong emotions in those that live more complicated lives.
